Lost Without You

The days have gone away
Those days that I had you here
I die inside, the distance so cold
How you'd lay beside me, your touch drawing me near
I am a wreck now that you are gone
My heartbeat is faint, my body has grown weak
To see my whole world crashing down
Suffocating in the moonlight, drowning in debris
The rest of the world could not understand
What you mean to me, how deep it goes
Or how my soul is wasting away again
In this suffering no man should know
I am my own victim
Lying to myself, offering false rreassurance
But you're no longer here
Your side of the bed remains cold, only a natural occuracnce
Now fighting back tears
I bite my lips out of sorrow, the blood runs across my cheek
Counting the days, hours, minutes, seconds
Slowly until you come back to me
